The term multimedia simply means many ways of communicating.Multimedia is the blending together of more than one medium -- such as text, graphics, sound, movies, smell-o-vision, whatever -- on your computer. Multimedia has been around for years, of course, through movies and television, but the word multimedia refers almost exclusively to computer technology.
